Job summary

Great Floors, part of Artisan Design Group, seeks a Cabinet Technician/Installer to service and repair cabinetry, moldings, and trims. You will work on sites, perform touch-ups, and coordinate with builders and homeowners to ensure quality repairs.

The role requires 2+ years in cabinetry, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in dynamic job sites, with travel to communities and house builds across the district.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cabinet industry, including construction, installation, repair, adjustment, finish, and staining.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proactive communication is essential in this role.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Must consistently meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Visit the assigned communities and build trust with the community builder or superintendent.
• Inspect cabinet installation within 48 hours of completion.
• Take cabinet measurements, confirm drawings and dimensions, verify plumbing locations; perform partial installations and repairs.
• Collect walk sheets from the warehouse daily and order parts; update the system and provide copies to the office and warehouse.
• Occasionally call and deliver materials to sites from warehouse or vendors.
• Communicate with the Director of Cabinetry about outstanding issues and incomplete installations.
