Job summary

Mead Lumber of Rapid City, SD is seeking a Cabinet Sales Representative to plan and design cabinet projects with customers and contractors within budget and style preferences. You will assist with layouts, measurements, plans, colors, finishes, and product selections while ensuring materials are ordered and available to complete projects.

You will use design software and Excel to manage layouts, pricing, and project data, build strong customer relationships, and provide exceptional service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in sales or design is preferred.
• Ability to read measurements, layouts, and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and contractors to discuss project needs and budgets.
• Create and revise cabinet layouts and project plans.
• Assist with selecting cabinet styles, colors, finishes, and hardware.
• Obtain and verify accurate project measurements.
• Prepare quotes and project information for customers.
• Review designs and orders with customers before placing orders.
• Order cabinets and materials to complete projects.
• Coordinate lead times, delivery schedules, and timelines.
• Maintain documentation for customers, sales, orders, and projects.
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
• Use design software and Excel to manage layouts, pricing, and data.
