Job summary

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. in Ashland, AL, is seeking an entry-level Builder to join our manufacturing team. You will learn to operate hand tools, set up machines, and assist in building cabinet parts, with opportunity to advance from Builder 1 to Builder 2 and Builder 3.

The role requires reading tape measures, following safety rules, and working in a fast-paced environment. We value accuracy and teamwork; training is provided, and you will handle various paints and finishes as you grow,

Qualifications

• Must have good hand and eye coordination.
• Must be proficient in using various hand tools (drill gun, staple gun, glue gun, etc.).
• Must be able to read papers and labels and read a tape measure.
• Ability to stay-on-task and follow safety guidelines and work processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform different tasks across builder levels.
• Build and assemble cabinetry following correct order of steps.
• Run saws and set up machines as needed.
• Develop knowledge of cabinet parts and finishes.
• Learn to apply paint and stain colors and woods.
