Job summary

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. seeks an entry-level Assembler 1 for its Ashland, AL plant. The role requires learning multiple assembly tasks, using hand tools, and reading measurements.

On-the-job training will cover various saws, machines, and finishes, with opportunities to advance to Builder levels based on performance. A strong safety mindset and reliability are essential. As part of the Manufacturing Ops team, you will work on the assembly line and contribute to producing cabinetry with attention

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read paperwork and/or labels.
• Proficient in reading a tape measure.
• Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
• Willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and learn/perform different tasks.
• Learn to operate a variety of tools and machines.
• Set up and operate saws and related equipment.
• Progress to more complex cabinet building steps over time.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
