Job summary

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. in Ashland, AL is seeking an Assembler 1 to join Assembly Line 3. This entry-level role focuses on hand-eye coordination, learning multiple tasks, and using hand tools to build cabinets.

You will read labels, measure with tape, follow safety guidelines, and progress to Builder roles with experience. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including evenings or weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read paperwork and labels.
• Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
• Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter who works well and can follow a list of daily work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Must have good hand and eye coordination.
• Will be required to learn and perform different tasks.
• Must understand the differences in the fasteners, screws, staples, etc. required to build.
• Must be proficient in using various hand tools (drill gun, staple gun, glue gun, etc.).
• Will be required to learn a variety of paint and or stain colors and/or wood species.
