Job summary

Honda Aircraft Company, LLC in Greensboro, NC seeks a Senior Cabin Systems Development Engineer to lead end-to-end design, development, and FAA certification for CMS, interior lighting, and in-flight connectivity.

You will coordinate with interior styling, electrical engineering, and avionics suppliers, author system qualification plans, and drive tests and certification reports to meet stringent aviation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of cabin systems development and leadership experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of CMS architectures, in‑flight connectivity, audio systems, and FAA regulations.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5, Teamcenter PLM, and engineering documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of cabin systems from requirements to FAA entry‑into‑service.
• Oversee engineering execution of CMS, in‑flight entertainment, and lighting.
• Serve as technical liaison between interior styling, electrical engineering, and avionics suppliers.
• Author and execute system qualification test plans, compliance matrices, and FAA certification reports.
• Research emerging advancements in aerospace connectivity, passenger apps, and luxury cabin UX/UI.

About the Role:

Honda Aircraft Company, LLC is seeking a Senior Cabin Systems Development Engineer in Greensboro, NC. You will lead end-to-end design, development, and FAA certification for HondaJet cabin management systems (CMS), interior lighting, and in-flight connectivity.

• Lead development of business aircraft cabin systems from requirements to FAA entry‑into‑service.
