Job summary

Escape to Blue Ridge is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep cabins in top condition and ready for guest stays. You will follow work orders via our apps, inspect properties, and perform repairs with a focus on reliability, consistency, and teamwork.

The role involves independent work with occasional interactions with guests and staff, requires adherence to safety protocols, and offers a dynamic work environment in the North Georgia mountains.

Qualifications

• Clean driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Flexible availability - weekends and evenings.
• Knowledge of general home maintenance required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong follow-up and accountability.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for property and maintenance tasks including air filters, water filters, basic carpentry, plumbing, and repairs.
• Inspect cabins, equipment, and systems to identify issues and repair faulty equipment and furniture.
• Minor maintenance of HVAC equipment, heating, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure homes meet internal safety standards.
