Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Cabana Server to deliver exceptional beverage and dining experiences inside our waterpark and in outdoor cabanas. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure timely, attentive service in a luxurious, waterpark setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• State or Local Law may require an alcohol awareness/safety certificate.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• General food and beverage knowledge with at least 1 year front-of-house experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, responsive service at all times.
• Take orders, relay to kitchen/bar, and communicate dietary needs.
• Deliver orders promptly with proper service and accompaniments.
• Inform guests of specials and guide them through menus.

Cabana Server

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Cabana Server. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectations beverage and dining experience for all guests.
We are hiring for Indoor Cabana Servers, located inside our Waterpark, as well as Outdoor Cabana Servers.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll provide personalized, attentive service in a relaxed, waterpark setting, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and luxurious stay.

Pay Rate - $2.13/Hr + Tips

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of drink specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and advise on any menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar and relay any special dietary needs and special requests.
• Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner, along with the appropriate accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and provide a safe environment for our guests and associates.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
