Beasley, Mitchell & Co., LLP is seeking an CAAS Supervisor to supervise client accounting engagements and provide hands-on accounting, reporting, and advisory services. The role focuses on audit-ready records and supporting Native American/Tribal clients with unique accounting and compliance needs.

The position involves supervising staff, managing engagement deadlines, and serving as the main liaison between clients and the firm, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or client accounting services.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements.
• Experience reviewing accounting work and financial information.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project-management abilities.

Responsabilités

• Supervise recurring client accounting engagements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual services.
• Oversee transactional accounting processes (AP, AR, payroll, cash activity, GL maintenance).
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, account classifications, and financial statements.
• Assist clients with accounting process improvements and internal control recommendations.
• Lead the preparation of client financial records and schedules for annual audits.
• Coordinate responses to auditor questions and audit readiness timelines.
• Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
• Conduct client meetings and status updates.
• Manage engagement deadlines and ensure timely delivery of services.
