• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements.
• Experience reviewing accounting work and financial information.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project-management abilities.

Aufgaben

• Supervise recurring client accounting engagements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual services.
• Oversee transactional accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, cash activity, and general ledger maintenance.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, account classifications, and financial statements.
• Assist clients with accounting process improvements and internal control recommendations.
• Lead the preparation of client financial records and schedules for audits.
• Coordinate responses to auditor questions and ensure audit-readiness.
• Staff supervision and development of Accountants and CAAS team members.
• Serve as a key accounting and advisory resource for Tribal governments and related entities.
