Job summary

Beasley, Mitchell, & Co is seeking a CAAS Supervisor to lead client accounting engagements with a strong emphasis on audit-ready records and tribal client services. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring deadlines, and coordinating with audit teams to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting.

The candidate will hold a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, bring 3–5+ years of accounting experience, and demonstrate strong Excel and communication skills. CPA eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or client accounting services.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project-management abilities.
• Preferred CPA or CPA eligibility.
• Experience with audit preparation or assurance engagements.
• Experience serving Tribal, governmental, nonprofit, or grant-funded organizations.
• Experience supervising or mentoring accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise client accounting engagements including monthly, quarterly, and annual services.
• Oversee transactional accounting processes: A/P, A/R, payroll, cash, GL.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Lead audit preparation, including PBC lists and timelines.
• Develop and maintain audit-readiness processes for Tribal clients.
• Coordinate with audit teams on overlapping CAAS and assurance work.
• Manage client relationships and communication.
• Staff supervision and development.
• Review workpapers for accuracy and presentation.
• Identify opportunities for additional services.
