Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a Controller for its CAAS practice in Nashville. You will lead financial planning, reporting, and internal controls for clients and collaborate with leadership to guide decision making.

In this role, you will oversee budgeting, KPI monitoring, and financial statements while building strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Public accounting experience is preferred but not required, CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; combination with experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal control policies and procedures.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and procurement activities.
• Prepare/oversee financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Evaluate funding needs and investment proposals.
• Monitor KPIs and staff performance in accounting functions.
• Advise management on financial objectives and policy actions.
• Regularly communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and stakeholders.
