Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a senior accounting professional in its CAAS practice to deliver customized accounting services to client organizations. You will work directly 1:1 with clients to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The role emphasizes strong GAAP knowledge, client relationship management, and collaboration with teams. In-office work with local travel to client sites and occasional travel may be required; CPA preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 6 years accounting/financial experience; logistics domain is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software; QuickBooks highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting systems.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal control policies and procedures for budgeting and cash management.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investments.
• Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports as needed.
• Evaluate fund procurement needs and investment of surpluses.
• Monitor KPIs and evaluate staff performance; drive improvements.
• Advise management on financial objectives and policies.
• Communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and stakeholders.
