Qualifications

• Education: Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Two years of social casework or employment services experience with a public or private agency/organization.
• Substitution rules: Master’s degree can substitute for one year of experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide case management services to CAAP clients.
• Assess clients’ situation through interviews, biopsychosocial assessments, and records.
• Summarize clients’ functional limitations and refer to community services.
• Educate and help clients navigate SSA/CAPI applications for disability benefits.
• Serve as liaison with SSA, State Department of Social Security, and other agencies.
• Use clinical interview techniques to establish rapport and manage emotions.
• Treat clients and staff with respect and dignity.
• Stay updated on SSI/SSDI/CAPI policies and attend related seminars.
• Participate in weekly case presentations and assist training of new staff.

Formation

Bachelor's degree

Two years social casework or employment services experience

Master’s degree substituted for one year experience (optional)
