Job summary

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., seeks a Certified Associate Addiction Drug Counselor (CAADC) to provide on-site services within a federally supported residential youth program in Gadsden, AL 35901.

The role is a full-time contract, 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, on-site in Gadsden with no telehealth option. CAADC certification in Alabama and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and valid CAADC certification in Alabama.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing substance abuse or behavioral health services to adolescents or young adults.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site substance abuse prevention, education, and counseling to students.
• Develop and facilitate alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention/education programs.
• Engage with students in dorms, recreation areas, dining facilities, and counseling spaces.
• Collaborate with program leadership and interdisciplinary staff.
• Support student development, coping skills, and relapse prevention.
