Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of California workers' compensation defense matters.
• Handle cases from assignment through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, conferences, and trials before the WCAB.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings.
• Communicate directly with clients, claims professionals, and opposing counsel.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate exposure.
• Manage discovery and medical-legal issues.
