Job summary

Law Firms seeks a FIHA/wage and hour Attorney with at least 3+ years of experience to represent employees in California wage and hour and related employment matters. The role requires handling cases from start to finish, evaluating claims, and drafting pleadings.

The candidate will join a litigation-focused team handling FEHA and wage-hour disputes, with a compensation package including a base salary and performance-based bonus opportunity. California Bar in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar in good standing.
• Experience handling plaintiff-side employment matters.
• Strong knowledge of FEHA or California employment law.
• Experience with employment litigation including discovery, depositions, motions and hearings.
• Strong legal writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle plaintiff-side employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Evaluate employment claims and develop litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Work directly with clients and opposing counsel.
