Job summary

Sysco Ventura, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant for the Ventura/Oxnard area. The role focuses on promoting Sysco products, building new and existing customer relationships, and meeting sales and profit goals within the California territory.

The position requires strong sales capabilities, a related degree or equivalent experience, and willingness to travel up to 50%. A comprehensive benefits package, a car allowance, and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED with 3 years restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with automobile insurance meeting company limits.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable growth.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers and promote Sysco products and services.
• Handle inquiries about products, prices, availability, and usage; provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Coordinate with credit and transportation to ensure on-time deliveries and accounts receivable collection.
• Participate in sales meetings, training, and territory planning; prepare quotes and manage sales data.
