Pinnacle/Aegis Treatment Centers is seeking a Grants Administrator in California. The role oversees administration, compliance, reporting, and financial coordination for government-funded grants in behavioral health and substance use treatment.

Remote work available for residents of CA with SOR experience. Responsibilities include managing grant awards, ensuring deadlines, and aligning activities with federal/state requirements, while maintaining audit-ready files and collaborating with finance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, health administration, accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of grant administration experience or government-funded program management.
• Experience preparing grant reports and audit-ready documentation.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of grant budgets/cost allowability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration of state, county, federal, and pass-through grant awards.
• Maintain grant compliance calendars and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Translate grant requirements into actionable internal processes for multiple teams.
• Ensure grant-funded activities, staffing, and expenditures conform to cost rules and applicable requirements.
• Track performance measures, deliverables, and compliance.
• Maintain audit-ready grant files and documentation.
• Prepare and submit programmatic and fiscal reports.
• Coordinate with accounting on budgets, reimbursements, and spend-downs.
• Represent the organization at funder meetings and respond to documentation requests.
