Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education is hiring Occupational Therapists for the 2026-2027 school year in California. The part-time/per-diem position offers $60–$72 per hour and serves children in school-based and clinical environments.

You will deliver direct therapy, collaborate with educators and families, and maintain thorough documentation while pursuing ongoing professional development. California license or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; school-based experience preferred.
• Holds (or is eligible for) a California OT license.
• Masters Degree or Doctorate required.
• Passionate about supporting children in school-based and pediatric settings.
• Communicates effectively and thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
• Brings strong clinical skills and warm, client-centered approach.
• Eager to learn, grow, and continuously develop professional expertise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy and conduct assessments for children in school-based and clinic settings.
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation for assessments, treatment plans and progress notes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to OT fieldwork students as needed.
