Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our C3BM efforts, focusing on space system data exploitation for missile tracking and cueing. You will engage in C2BMC/ BMDS concepts, integration, and multi-national exchange designs.

The role requires a Secret clearance or higher, 12+ years in DoD programs, a Master's in STEM, and strong SE execution capabilities to lead future capabilities into operations.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or higher required.
• 12+ years on missile defense-related or other complex DoD program/project.

• Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes.
• Experience with missile defense weapon systems, radars, C2BMC or BMDS OPIR Architecture (BOA).
• Capable of leading implementation of system engineering processes to facilitate integration and transition of emerging capabilities into operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system engineering support in planning/executing space system data exploitation for missile tracking, discrimination, and cueing.
• Cruise Missile Indications and Warning development; PWSA integration; ESL prototype evaluation; ESPN operational capabilities fielding.
• Coordinate/participate in technical reviews at SECRET and TS levels.
• Evaluate infrared data exploitation performance and assess integrating new infrared sensors into MDA/DCC capabilities.
• Prepare/present briefings for operators, developers, and executive leaders; assist program manager with acquisition actions and Government Furnished Equipment.

MDR is looking for an amazing Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be part of the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts to include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs.

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting system engineering support in planning and executing space system data exploitation capabilities for missile tracking, discrimination, and cueing.
• Responsibilities include the following: Cruise Missile Indications and Warning development; Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) integration, Enterprise Sensors Lab (ESL) prototype evaluation, and fielding Enterprise Sensors Processing Node (ESPN) operational capabilities. Coordinate and actively participate in technical reviews at SECRET and TS levels.
• Evaluate performance of Infrared data exploitation capabilities during real world events and assist with assessing and integrating new infrared sensors into the MDA/DCC portfolio of capabilities.
• Prepare and present explanatory briefings for operators, developers and executive leaders and assist program manager in all acquisition actions to get contractors on contract, coordinate to obtain all required Government Furnished Equipment and Information, and assess overall contractor performance.

• Must have some experience with or knowledge of missile defense weapon systems, radars, C2BMC or BMDS OPIR Architecture (BOA).
• Capable of leading implementation of system engineering processes to facilitate integration and transition of emerging capabilities into operations.

• Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Current Top Secret/with SCI eligibility is preferred
• Ability to assess maturity of software code and overall Technology Readiness Levels
