Job summary

C3 Trucking is seeking drivers for a local dedicated account operating within a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY. The role features mostly no-touch freight, sign-on bonus, and occasional pallet-jack unloading. Uniforms are provided and trucks are slip seated.

Average weekly pay ranges from $1,600 to $1,900, with a DOT-compliant work schedule including a 5-day week and a voluntary 6th day. Requires 3 months of Class A experience and a clean MVR/background.

Qualifications

• 3 months Class A experience with a 53-foot trailer.
• Clean MVR and clean background.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen groceries within a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY.
• Unloading may be required with pallet jack on some orders.
• Uniforms are provided and trucks are slip seated.

POSITION DETAILS
Drivers on this local job will operate in a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Deliver fresh and frozen groceries on a '53,'51,'48 ft reefer trailer to supermarkets and distribution centers within 250 miles of Chester, NY - NY Hudson Valley, the 5 boroughs and Long Island (After required training), NY, CT. Also with back hauls ranging throughout the same areas, including PA.
NOTE: Only 20-25% of the freight delivers in NYC.

Multistop loads, usually 15 plus stops per week.

Drivers normally do 2 loads per day or one long load.

Drivers will pick up return product at the final stop or pick up a backhaul back to the DC

Trucks will be slip seated.

Automatic and Manual daycabs that cannot be taken home for time off.

Uniforms are provided and maintained by the account.

Mostly no-touch freight.

If drivers help out at other accounts they could be asked to unload with a pallet jack. So drivers will be trained in pallet jack usage to help unload when necessary

$1600-$1900 average weekly

Must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test and a DOT physical
