Job summary

C3 Trucking is seeking drivers for a W2 Local Dedicated Account in the Chester, NY area. Shifts run 10AM-2PM, with Tues-Wed off, 5 days plus a voluntary 6th day. This local role covers a 250-mile radius around Chester, NY, with mostly no-touch freight and multi-stop loads each week.

Expect to deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and DCs in NY Hudson Valley, NYC area, PA, CT, and return hauls within the same region. Uniforms provided; pallet jack usage training available.

Qualifications

• 3 months class A experience with a 53 ft trailer.
• Clean MVR and clean background.
• Must pass hair and urine drug test and a DOT physical.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries within a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY.
• Perform multistop loads with 15+ stops per week.
• Usually 2 loads per day or one long load; return/backhaul to DC.
• Trucks are slip seated; uniforms provided; mostly no-touch freight.
• If needed, pallet jack training for unloading.

POSITION DETAILS

Drivers on this local job will operate in a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Deliver fresh and frozen groceries on a '53,'51,'48 ft reefer trailer to supermarkets and distribution centers within 250 miles of Chester, NY - NY Hudson Valley, the 5 boroughs and Long Island (After required training), NY, CT. Also with back hauls ranging throughout the same areas, including PA.

NOTE: Only 20-25% of the freight delivers in NYC.

Multistop loads, usually 15 plus stops per week.

Drivers normally do 2 loads per day or one long load.

Drivers will pick up return product at the final stop or pick up a backhaul back to the DC

Trucks will be slip seated.

Automatic and Manual daycabs that cannot be taken home for time off.

Uniforms are provided and maintained by the account.

Mostly no-touch freight.

If drivers help out at other accounts they could be asked to unload with a pallet jack. So drivers will be trained in pallet jack usage to help unload when necessary

$1600-$1900 average weekly
