Job summary

SYSTEMTEC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid opportunity in Columbia, SC. The role supports complex enterprise infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, translating requirements into detailed infrastructure plans and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include developing deployment specifications, collaborating across architecture, security, and operations, and ensuring reliable, secure infrastructure changes.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship.
• 8+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• Eligibility for C2 clearance required.
• Hands-on Cisco ACI and SDN experience.
• GitHub experience for infrastructure projects.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Strong server and network knowledge with change management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements and determine infrastructure changes.
• Review solutions and develop server/network implementation plans.
• Create deployment specifications and technical documentation for implementation teams.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, operations to meet requirements.
• Assess dependencies, risks, and impacts of planned changes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues.
