The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking a Summer Engineering Scholar to provide technical support across multiple disciplines including Location and Design, Materials, Residency Operations, Construction, and more.
You will communicate with staff and external contacts, complete assignments on time, and contribute to project documentation while gaining real-world exposure to state DOT engineering practices.
Perform special duties as assigned. Provide technical support to assigned engineering program areas. May work in one of the following engineering disciplines: Location and Design, Materials, Residency Operations, Construction, Structure and Bridge, Maintenance, Environmental, Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Operations.
