Job summary

Jump Trading Group is seeking a talented C++ engineer to join our APAC-focused team, building and maintaining the live trading system, risk infrastructure, and post-trade analysis platforms. You will ship production-grade code that powers high-frequency trading across markets and collaborate with research, operations, and trading teams.

You will work on back testing infrastructure and data pipelines, ensuring low latency and high reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in C++ with hands-on experience working with large-scale systems.
Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, system design, networking concepts and operating systems.
Solid debugging skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases quickly.
Comfortable working on Linux — command line, debugging, and bare-metal environments.

Responsibilities

Live trading system — Design, build, and maintain the systems that connect our strategies to the exchange, with high performance and robustness.
Business-specific infrastructure — Build trading platforms to support expansion into new businesses and markets.
Risk infrastructure — Design modules monitoring performance in real-time and apply controls across components.
Back testing infrastructure — Build and maintain the back testing framework used for evaluating strategies against large-scale historical data.
Post-trade analysis — Produce datasets for traders and researchers, powering analytics behind trading strategies.
Production ownership — Debug incidents, trace data through pipelines, and own the code.
