Job summary

Versant is hiring a Membership Manager for CNBC Councils in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This full-time, hybrid role drives new-member sales across CNBC Councils, prospecting and converting C-suite executives into members while coordinating with the broader Membership team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in B2B sales, strong CRM experience, and the ability to build relationships with senior leaders. The position offers benefits and a hybrid work model with some in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful B2B sales or business development.
• Experience generating leads, managing a pipeline, and closing new business.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior decision-makers.
• Creative prospecting and development of new sales opportunities.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM for pipeline tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own the full new-member sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding.
• Contribute to shared new-membership and revenue goals across CNBC Councils.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of C-suite executives and senior leaders.
• Develop targeted outreach strategies and executive introductions.
• Craft tailored messaging linking CNBC Councils to prospects’ priorities.
• Source, vet, and recruit members who meet council criteria.
• Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and convert interest to membership.
• Maintain Salesforce records and share prospect insights with teams.
