Terrible Herbst is seeking an Assistant Manager Trainee at our Las Vegas location. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining excellent Customer Service and overseeing store operations, including gas pumps, inventory, and staff management to maximize sales and profitability.

You will ensure compliance with policies, handle cash and POS operations, and support district staffing needs. A strong customer service mindset and the ability to work varied shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate with customers in a busy environment.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service in a friendly environment.
• Manage store operations to maximize sales and profitability.
• Control shrink, expenses and staff scheduling per management guidelines.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure perishables dates are valid.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and certifications.
• Oversee cash handling and POS operations to minimize errors.
• Prepare Daily Activity Reports and fuel surveys.
• Cover shifts and travel to other district locations as needed.
