Job summary

River Country in Minnesota is seeking an experienced assistant/acting store manager to support daily operations including checkout, merchandising, layout, inventory, and bookkeeping. The role covers leadership in the absence of the Store Manager and ensures service quality.

Candidate should have strong retail experience, be proficient with POS systems, and capable of supervising clerks and handling open/close procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of retail experience.
• Proficient with POS systems and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Review, assign and follow up on daily work lists
• Supervise the sale of all retail goods and services including money drop procedures
• Monitor and maintain all food service areas
• Review, update, and correct retail pricing on all retail items
• Train, manage and supervise C-Store Clerks in Managers absence
• Perform open and close processes as needed
• Receive, verify, and process merchandise and vendor shipments
• Order merchandise to maintain proper inventory levels of product
• Oversee and/or stock, and display merchandise and supplies
