Job summary

Enerbase Cooperative Resources in Minot, ND seeks a Convenience Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, oversee staff, manage inventory, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will train employees, handle cash, supervise shifts and ensure compliance with safety and alcohol/tobacco regulations, including evenings and weekends. This role offers a full benefits package after 60 days and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Retail or convenience store experience with merchandising and inventory.
• Proven leadership, training, and staff motivation.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays; 40+ hours as needed.
• Proficient with POS systems and inventory software.
• High school diploma or GED; willing to pursue Class B certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule CSR and kitchen staff.
• Open/close store, handle cash, and prepare deposits.
• Order supplies, receive deliveries, stock shelves, and verify pricing.
• Resolve customer complaints and maintain a clean, welcoming store.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards for alcohol/tobacco sales.
• Other duties as assigned.
