Job summary

Oceaneering's Austin Software group is offering a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program from mid May to early August. You will contribute to the autonomous underwater vehicle program with software development, algorithm work, and vehicle operation/testing in a hybrid environment.

You’ll work with a mentor to align your projects with real-world applications, and engage in team-building activities, lunches with executives, facility tours, and off-site ventures, gaining hands-on industry

Qualifications

• Software development experience applicable to autonomous systems.
• Algorithms development tasks relevant to vehicle control.
• Exposure to vehicle operation and testing activities.

What you’ll do

This is a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program (mid May to early August). As an intern with our Austin Software group, you’ll work to assist in development of our autonomous underwater vehicle development program doing software development, algorithm development, and vehicle operation/testing. Additional responsibilities may include user documentation, testing and requirements gathering.

Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.
