Job summary

Oceaneering's Austin Software group is offering a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program from mid May to early August. You will contribute to the autonomous underwater vehicle program with software development, algorithm work, and vehicle operation/testing in a hybrid environment.

You’ll work with a mentor to align your projects with real-world applications, and engage in team-building activities, lunches with executives, facility tours, and off-site ventures, gaining hands-on industry

Qualifications

• Software development experience applicable to autonomous systems.
• Algorithms development tasks relevant to vehicle control.
• Exposure to vehicle operation and testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the autonomous underwater vehicle program with software and algorithm development.
• Support vehicle operation/testing and participate in validation activities.
• Create user documentation, perform testing, and gather requirements.
