Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. in Maryland seeks a C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance at NAVAIR-PAX River, on-site five days a week. An active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

You will write, review, and test C++ code on Linux (RHEL), work with Oracle databases and Visual Studio, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on avionics projects. Preferred: Ada, DOORS or Cameo, Jira/Confluence, and experience with modeling and simulation and hardware interfaces.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• BS in engineering or computer science.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
