Job summary

Philips in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Software Engineer C++ to join the IGT-D Software R&D group. You will develop data-driven and ML-enabled workflows for clinical imaging software, collaborating with AI/ML engineers and product owners to improve workflows and efficiency.

Your role involves translating requirements to features, implementing high-quality, real-time capable code, and ensuring rigorous validation with static analysis, peer reviews, and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Embedded software experience using C++.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Translate software requirements to clinical imaging application features with Product Owner and Senior Software Engineers.
• Leverage C++ to implement high-quality features with real-time performance constraints.
• Ensure code is scanned by static analysis tools and peer reviewed before integration; maintain SDD documents.
• Perform development testing (unit tests and manual tests) to verify requirements and edge cases.
• Adhere to Philips Agile QMS processes and create documentation to satisfy regulatory requirements.
