Job summary

Philips is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in C++ for the Azurion Eye program, based in Plymouth, MN. You will contribute to data-driven, ML-enabled workflows in clinical imaging software, collaborating across AI/ML and software teams to improve workflows and patient safety.

The role requires 2+ years of C++ software development, experience with Qt UI, and familiarity with regulatory standards. Office-based work with on-site presence in Plymouth, MN is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience, including embedded software in C++.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline is required.
• Experience with desktop applications and UI frameworks such as Qt; proficiency with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git; familiarity with CMake, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and understanding regulatory standards (IEC 62304/82304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).

Responsibilities

• Translate software requirements into clinical imaging application features using C++ with real-time constraints.
• Ensure code is scanned by static analysis tools and peer-reviewed before integration; create Software Design Descriptions (SDD).
• Perform unit and manual testing to verify requirements and edge-case handling; follow Agile QMS processes and prepare regulatory documentation.
