Job summary

About the Role

Passionate about developing software and modeling complex phenomena? Enjoy collaborating with internal and external partners to understand their needs and help solve problems? If so, we're looking for someone like you to join the Air Combat and Strike Mission Analysis Group!


Responsibilities


  • Develop and enhance C++ modeling and simulation capabilities representing radar, tracking, engagement, and related mission-system behaviors.

  • Deliver software tools that enable analysts to assess military utility, system requirements, and capability tradeoffs for air dominance and strike systems.

  • Collaborate with a well-rounded team of engineers and analysts to build, adapt, and integrate software for applications, infrastructure, and user interfaces.

  • Participate in defining requirements, designing, developing, testing, integrating, delivering, and maintaining M&S tools.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.

  • Have a demonstrated record of developing robust, maintainable software using modern C++17 or newer.

  • Can communicate effectively with end-users about technical issues and new software capabilities.

  • Are willing, able, and passionate about learning new concepts and growing your personal skill set.

  • Are able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret clearance. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Have a Master's degree or PhD in a related technical field.

  • Are proficient using Git, CMake, and Conan.

  • Have experience with DevSecOps, especially using GitLab or Docker.

  • Have experience using GoogleTest (GTest) for unit and regression testing.

  • Have experience with AFSIM’s simulation framework and developing plugins for it.

  • Have experience working with Tracking and Filtering, Data Fusion, RF, or Electronic Warfare.

  • Are familiar with Java, Python, or MATLAB.

Compensation

Minimum Rate: $100,000 Annually


Maximum Rate: $245,000 Annually
