Description

Are you passionate about analyzing air combat systems and searching for an opportunity to apply your modeling, simulation, and analysis background in an engaging, collegiate environment?

Responsibilities
  • Analyze the effectiveness and employment of airborne systems operating in complex environments using tools such as AFSIM.
  • Develop, evaluate, and analyze tactics and concepts of employment for groundbreaking technologies such as air platforms, sensors, countermeasures, and weapons including manned‑unmanned vehicles.
  • Work with a team of analysts and senior engineers to guide the direction of analysis.
  • Present your work through briefings to technical specialists and pivotal decision makers.
  • Engage in independent research projects encouraging creative solutions and rewarding initiative.
Qualifications
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related area.
  • Have demonstrated excellence in mission‑level modeling, simulation, and analysis in the air‑to‑air domain with tools such as AFSIM or Brawler.
  • Be skilled in conducting quantitative analysis and rapidly learning new concepts.
  • Have strong scripting and programming skills in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or Java.
  • Can work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and communicate sophisticated ideas directly with government civilians, military officers, and contractors.
  • Be able to obtain the required Special Access Program (SAP) level access.
  • Be able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by your start date and ultimately obtain a Top Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a Master’s or Ph.D. in a technical field listed above.
  • Have demonstrated excellence leading a team performing mission‑level modeling, simulation & analysis.
  • Have an active Top‑Secret security clearance.
Compensation

Minimum Rate: $105,000 Annually

Maximum Rate: $245,000 Annually
