Socket.dev in Louisville, KY is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager for the C-Shift. You will lead and develop the C-shift production team, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and partner with maintenance, quality, and engineering to resolve issues.

Lean initiatives and continuous improvement will be a core focus. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and familiarity with ERP/MES systems to optimize performance in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting with shift-based teams.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with manufacturing systems (ERP, MES) is a plus.
Must be available to work the C-Shift.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support C-shift production team members to meet safety, quality, and delivery objectives.
Foster a safety culture, ensure OSHA and environmental compliance and company standards.
Manage shift KPIs: production output, scrap, labor utilization and downtime.
Coordinate shift activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues.
Facilitate shift handovers and communicate with other shift leaders and plant leadership.
Drive lean initiatives and process improvements across operations.
Conduct performance check-ins and support career development.
Ensure timely completion of production documentation and shift reports.
Manage attendance, scheduling, and shift staffing for coverage.
