Amberwood Estates Nursing and Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to assist residents with daily activities and provide compassionate care in a long-term setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bathe and dress patients.
• Serve meals and help patients eat.
• Take vital signs.
• Turn or reposition bedridden patients.
• Collect information from caregivers, nurses and doctors.
• Provide and empty bedpans.
• Lift patients into beds and chairs.
• Answer patient calls.
• Examine patients for bruises or wounds.
• Clean and sanitize patient areas.
• Change bed sheets and restock rooms.
• Charting.
• CNAs serve as conduit between patients and medical staff.
• Willing to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Day/Evening: 7;00 AM-7:00PM

Evening/Night 7:00pm-7:00am

We are looking for someone who is looking for a long term commitment in their position with Amberwood Estates Your past work experience is important to us. We are looking for applicants that are looking for more than just a job, but to become part of the "Amberwood Estates TEAM"

The position has the following, but not limited to, responsibilities

CNAs assist patients with daily activities and while some CNAs have additional responsibilities, such as the core functions on the job include:

• Bathe and dress patients
• Serve meals and help patients eat
• Take vital signs
• Turn or reposition patients who are bedridden
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses and doctors
• Provide and empty bedpans
• Lift patients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.
• Answer patient calls
• Examine patients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds
• Clean and sanitize patient areas
• Change bed sheets and restock rooms with necessary supplies
• Charting

CNAs also serve as a conduit between patients and nurses and doctors and record and communicate all issues to medical staff.

Must be Willing to work every other weekend and every other hoilday
