Job summary

Foreman Tool and Mold in Lombard, IL is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our manufacturing team. The role requires a valid Class C CDL, forklift certification, and clean driving record to operate 26-foot box trucks and support material handling across locations.

You will drive company vehicles, load and unload, perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, and help in the warehouse and tool room. OT may be available with advance approval.

Qualifications

• The right candidate will have a valid Class C CDL in good standing and forklift certification.
• Experience driving 26 ft box trucks and performing basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Proficient in safe driving, load securing, and basic warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive 26 foot box truck between two locations to move materials and parts.
• Deliver and pick up materials and molds; drive pickups/van for local repairs or shop duties.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading; ensure cargo is strapped safely.
• Monitor vehicle weight limits and choose appropriate vehicle.
• Maintain maintenance schedules for 4-5 company vehicles.
• Perform additional warehouse/tool room tasks and minor maintenance as needed.
• OT may be available; follow directions and prioritize trips.

Foreman Tool and Mold is a plastic injection molder and mold builder. The right person for this job will have a C license, in good standing and be forklift certified.The Driver/warehouse position duties include:Driving 26 foot box truck between 2 (close) locations to move materials and parts to and from the warehouse. Also driving box truck for some skid, material pickups and part or mold drop offs.Driving pickup trucks or van to and from local businesses for repairs, pick up materials, shop for materials, etc.Forklift certified to load and unload materialsUnderstanding of weight limits on our vehicles to pick which one is best for the job assignedKeeping track of all maintenance schedules and inspection scheduled on 4-5 vehiclesOperating vehicles safely and keeping cargo strapped safetlyAble to follow directions and prioritze and organize trips and dutiesAll other duties that may include building skids, helping in warehouse, helping in tool room, waiting at a location for repairs, minor building maintenance, snow shoveling and salting walkways, or any other duties as assignedThis position is Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4pm with some OT as needed and approved.
