Job summary

Pico is seeking a C++ Engineer (Decoders) to join a world-leading engineering team. You will design and develop new features across Pico’s product range, focusing on decoding and processing real-time market data in a high-performance environment.

The role requires Linux C++ expertise, multi-threaded development experience, and familiarity with Python and scripting. This hybrid role involves some office time and global collaboration across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of development experience.
• Expert proficiency in C++ development under Linux.

• to understand our customers’ market position in capital markets;
• to understand how our customers’ backbone network is performing;

• to monitor voice over IP call quality.

Requirements:

Working Arrangements

This is a Hybrid position with [weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home]. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).
