Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Level 3 or 4 to support the GMD Weapon System hardware engineering team. You will develop and maintain electrical drawings for ground systems interfaces, and contribute to design, documentation, and demonstrations in an Agile setting.

The role requires a Secret clearance, up to 10% travel, and hands-on experience with CAD tools such as Visio/AutoCAD/SolidWorks/CREO. A degree in a STEM field is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with related experience or advanced degrees as stated.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Active in-scope U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance to start.
• Experience with CAD packages to develop technical drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical/power system design and related interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop design drawings and maintain electrical drawings for Ground Systems hardware.
• Generate engineering documentation including drawings, specs and test reports.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment and participate in team demos and status updates.
• Perform analyses in accordance with industry and military standards.
