Job summary

Sumter Utilities, Inc. (a Quanta Services company) seeks a C Class Lineman with overhead distribution experience. The role supports a growing crew, with emphasis on safety and readiness to advance to higher responsibilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required for apprenticeship enrollment.
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate readiness to grow into a lineman role.
• Possession of a valid Class A CDL is highly preferred; may require within 90 days if not present.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on construction, maintenance or repair of energized and de-energized conductors under supervision.
• Maintain enrollment in SUI apprenticeship program.
• Capable of setting poles and anchors per safety policies and specs.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good order.
• Work as part of a crew or alone as required, with high physical demands.
