Job summary

MidSouth Pain Treatment Center is seeking a Certified X‑Ray Technician to operate the C‑Arm for interventional pain procedures at our Germantown, TN ASC. The role requires ARRT certification, MS/TN X‑Ray Operator licenses, and significant C‑Arm experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will ensure patient positioning, perform imaging according to physician directives, and adhere to ALARA principles while maintaining strict documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT (RT(R)) certification is required.
• State X‑Ray Operator licenses for MS and TN are required.
• Significant experience operating C‑Arm fluoroscopy equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices and ALARA principles.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate C‑Arm fluoroscopy equipment during interventional pain procedures.
• Ensure proper positioning of C‑Arm and patient for optimal imaging.
• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging per physician direction and regulatory guidelines.
• Apply radiation safety measures, shielding, and minimize exposure to staff and patients.
• Prepare patients for imaging and procedures, verify identity, explain steps, ensure comfort.
• Maintain quality control checks on imaging equipment and document results.
