Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. in Dallas, TX, seeks an experienced Front-end/embedded software engineer with strong C/C++ and Linux background to join a diverse engineering team.

You will contribute to architecture, design, prototyping, and UI framework development for embedded devices. You should have 5-6 years in front-end dev, plus 6+ years in architecture and software development for embedded systems, and be proficient with modern C++ standards and multithreading.

Qualifications

• High proficiency with modern C/C++ (C++11/14/17) preferred.
• Excellent with the C++ build process.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency with multiple communication paradigms: client-server, peer-to-peer, and publish/subscribe.
• Experience with IP-based communications and protocols (HTTP, TLS, REST, WebSockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs).
• Familiarity with FlatBuffers, RTP, RTSP, and HLS; collaborate with diverse engineering teams.
• Apply GenAI to day-to-day activities.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Dallas, TX to be $ 120,000 to $130,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
