Job summary

Magnera is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to manage byproduct inventory and supporting logistics across domestic and export shipments. You will generate offerings, coordinate with sales, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in a relevant field, SAP experience, and advanced Excel skills. This role emphasizes strong analytics, organization, and cross-functional teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain; BS degree preferred.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics and/or operations preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in SAP ERP system is preferred.
• Advanced Excel user experience (formulas, pivot tables, macros, graphs).

Responsibilities

• Manage byproduct inventory to understand volume on hand and monitor shipments versus sales orders.
• Generate byproduct offerings to customers based on product styles, roll width and size.
• Coordinate with customer service and warehouse to execute sales orders and shipments.
• Collaborate with sales to prioritize byproduct customers and address stock challenges.
• Generate weekly open order/inventory reports for visibility of delays.
• Manage SAP upload process for inbound raw materials and resolve related issues.
• Execute inventory write-downs and write-offs as directed by Supply Chain Manager.
• Manage customer returns once the return order is entered to ensure proper documentation.
• Oversee manufacturing waste processes with operations to ensure timely shipments and processing.
• Handle non-routine logistics for domestic and export shipments with required documentation.
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines and maintain strong analytical capabilities.
