Job summary

Framatome seeks a BWR Robotics Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, to lead the NDE engineering team, design tooling for BWR inspections, and mentor staff. You will support proposals, review design work, and assist on-site at US plants with complex robotic systems, applying advanced software and engineering practices.

The role requires 7+ years in related engineering, strong BWR experience, and leadership. Expect collaboration across multiple sites, tight schedules, and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design/inspections.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, and field task execution.
• Review department work products and analyses (RCA, FMEA, etc.).
• Propose and scope solutions; work autonomously on assignments.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Develop new tools, methods, or models for value-added solutions.
• Mentor others in BWR knowledge and support on-site inspections.
