Job Description:

Position: Buyer Senior Analyst
Reporting to: Supervisor

The person in this role is responsible for all supplier commodity buying activities from requisition to payment, supporting global Source to Pay goals. This is an individual contributor role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform moderate to complex transactional buying activities for specific countries, regions, or areas, including managing the purchase order process, maintaining price information, following through on PO deliveries, vendor coordination, and purchasing reporting activities.
• Resolve exceptions and handle inquiries from suppliers and stakeholders.
• Follow clearly defined procedures within sourcing areas, ensuring compliance with internal source-to-pay rules and SOX controls.
• Support new members of the Buying Team.
• Keep SOPs up-to-date based on identified changes, improvements, or audit requirements.
• Serve as the go-to person in the assigned country or region.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Manage reporting and analytics tasks.
• Facilitate Tier 1 issue resolution and draft CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action).

General Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience in sourcing or transactional purchasing activities.
• Proficient in written English communication.
• Customer service and quality-oriented mindset.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of sourcing principles.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, ERP/SAP, sourcing tools, and applications.
• Structured approach to workload planning.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail.
