Job summary

KTJB in Miami is seeking a hands-on Buyer, Sourcing & Production to manage sourcing, purchasing, production follow-up, inventory, and supplier coordination in a quality-driven environment.

The role collaborates with Sales, administration, manufacturers, logistics partners and customs to ensure products meet quality, cost and timing targets. 3–5 years in buying or sourcing, ERP experience, and a strong B2B mindset are required; Italian/European sourcing experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in buying, sourcing, production, or supply chain.
• Experience with international suppliers and manufacturers.
• Strong negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Fluent English with Italian a strong plus.
• Experience with European sourcing, particularly Italy and Portugal, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Sales needs and translate demand into sourcing, purchasing, and production actions.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and manufacturers.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
• Manage purchase orders and production from order placement through delivery.
• Understand materials, product construction, transformation, finishing, and assembly.
• Manage inventory, replenishment, shortages, overstock, and supply risks.
• Analyze full product cost, including manufacturing, packaging, freight, duties, and landed cost.
• Coordinate logistics, transport, customs, and shipment follow-up.
• Maintain accurate supplier, purchasing, inventory, and product data in the ERP.
• Work closely across Sales, Administration, Operations, and external production partners.

The role works closely with Sales, Sales Administration, manufacturers, logistics partners, and customs stakeholders to ensure products are delivered at the right quality, cost, and timing.

• Strong negotiation, organization, and follow‑up skills.
• Experience in luxury or premium products preferred.
• ERP experience required.
• Fluent English; Italian is a strong plus.
• Experience with European sourcing, particularly Italy and Portugal, is highly valued.

This is a hands‑on individual contributor role with the potential to grow into a management position.
