Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. is seeking a Buyer / Procurement Analyst for our Lexington, KY site. This onsite full-time role supports the Global Supply Chain with sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of machinery, equipment, and materials.

The candidate will analyze data to set price objectives, monitor supplier performance, and prepare RFPs. Active Secret clearance is required, and entry-level candidates with BS + 0–2 years are encouraged to apply.

• BS degree in supply chain, procurement, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience for entry level role.
• Active Secret clearance required.

• Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine buying feasibility and price objectives.

Position Overview

Job Title: Buyer / Procurement Analyst

Location: Lexington, KY

Worksite Classification: Onsite Full Time (5/40 Schedule)

Desired Start Date: 11/12/2026 End Date: 5/12/2027 Pay Rate: $30.42 Hourly (OT40) Security Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance required

Job Summary & Responsibilities

Sources, negotiates, and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies necessary for organizational operations. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine product buying feasibility and establish price objectives. Monitors supplier performance and maintains information on price trends and manufacturing processes. Evaluates opportunities to leverage material acquisitions and reduce costs. Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes their operations to determine factors affecting prices, ensuring the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and delivery schedules. Reviews proposals, selects or recommends suppliers, follows up on placed orders, verifies deliveries, approves payments, and maintains comprehensive records. Prepares Requests for Proposals (RFPs) & bid packages.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Level 1: BS + 0–2 years of experience).

• Data entry experience
• proficiency in creating and utilizing Excel worksheets (minimum 1 year of experience)
• Security Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance.
